Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and professional Reservationist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and administrative duties, with experience using OpenTable. The candidate selected for this role will also be cross-trained to provide occasional operational support for the restaurant on an as-needed basis, assisting our regular office staff during absences, vacations, and periods of increased business demand.
Job Roles/Requirements
- Answering all incoming calls and directing inquiries to the appropriate department heads
- Managing reservations and cancellations via OpenTable
- Making daily confirmation calls to ensure all bookings are confirmed
- Monitoring and responding to the restaurant's emails in a timely manner
- Communicating important messages to senior staff regarding special requests, needs, and concerns
- Provide occasional administrative assistance to support office operations.
- Demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Docs
- Experience with Micros and InDesign are a plus
Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
