Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to evaluate the mental and emotional well-being of students, identifying specific needs and challenges.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans incorporating solution-focused therapeutic interventions aimed at addressing identified issues.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation that adheres to relevant policies, laws, and ethical standards.
• Collaborate closely with educators, school administrators, parents, and other members of the treatment team to provide a holistic approach to student care.
• Offer education and support to students and their families, equipping them with strategies to cope with mental health challenges.
• Engage in continual learning by keeping abreast of current mental health research, trends, and best practices to ensure the delivery of state-of-the-art therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with students from diverse backgrounds, many of whom face unique challenges such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma. Your role will emphasize breaking down barriers and providing a community-focused approach to mental wellness, ensuring each student feels heard, respected, and empowered in their journey toward improved mental health.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW-C license in the state of Maryland.
• Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in solution-focused psychotherapy interventions.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with students, families, and colleagues alike.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities to address complex clinical situations effectively.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
