Requirements and Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current or eligible California SLP license
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, though Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply
• Experience working with pediatric populations in school or educational environments
• Able to conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Ability to adapt to varying student needs and individualized education plans (IEPs)

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and identify students with speech and language impairments
• Develop and implement appropriate therapy interventions and individualized plans
• Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to promote student success
• Participate in multidisciplinary and IEP team meetings
• Maintain accurate and timely records of assessments, progress, and communication with families
• Stay current on best practices and evidence-based approaches within school-based speech-language pathology
