Work Environment

Located in a vibrant school facility, the work setting is conducive to a family-friendly environment with easy access for patients. Your work week will be Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, offering a consistent schedule that aids in work-life balance. This position is 100% onsite, allowing for direct patient interactions and immediate collaboration with other healthcare professionals, enhancing communication and patient care.

Key Responsibilities

As a Nurse Practitioner in cardiology, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough patient evaluations and physical assessments to establish baseline health data.
• Developing and implementing tailored care plans for individuals diagnosed with various cardiovascular conditions, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices.
• Managing chronic cardiovascular diseases, offering meticulous follow-up care to monitor progress and adjust treatment as necessary.
• Educating patients about cardiovascular health, treatment alternatives, and lifestyle modifications aimed at optimizing heart health.
• Coordinating patient care with a range of healthcare professionals, including scheduling referrals to specialists when appropriate.
• Maintaining meticulous medical records that comply with established standards and regulations, ensuring all patient interactions are well-documented.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with diverse patient populations, including children, adolescents, and adults who present with various cardiovascular concerns. Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Current and active Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensure in New York State.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
