Accounts Receivable Manager

Overseeing the accounts receivable operations, the full-time Manager, Accounts Receivable will manage billing, collections, and reimbursement processes while leading a team to optimize revenue cycle performance and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations in a remote setting. Key responsibilities: Manage day-to-day activities of accounts receivable staff, ensuring effective billing and collections Conduct thorough reviews of patient accounts for accuracy and implement strategies to improve collection rates Generate performance reports and mentor team members to meet key metrics and reduce denials Required qualifications: Minimum five years of general hospital billing and collections experience, with at least two years in a managerial role Proficient understanding of medical terminology and hospital business office operations Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve complex billing issues High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in medical billing or healthcare administration is a plus Experience with billing software and electronic health records systems
