Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your days will be dynamic and varied, including but not limited to:

• Conducting thorough evaluations and interviews with clients and their families to assess social, emotional, and economic challenges impacting their recovery process.

• Conducting virtual therapy sessions utilizing trauma-informed therapeutic techniques to address substance use disorders, ensuring each session is personalized to meet individual client needs.

• Providing crisis intervention, managing situations such as mental health emergencies and incidents of abuse, ensuring immediate support and safety for those affected.

• Advocating for and connecting clients to essential community resources, such as healthcare services, childcare support, and food assistance, thereby improving their overall well-being.

• Continuously monitoring the progress of clients, assessing their adaptations to life changes (such as unemployment or divorce), and adjusting treatment plans as needed.

• Maintaining accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment progress in compliance with Department of Mental Health standards and billing requirements.

You will primarily serve individuals dealing with substance use disorders and the associated challenges that often come with them, such as trauma and mental health issues. Our clientele is diverse; they encompass various backgrounds and life experiences, particularly those seeking recovery paths after life-altering events. Qualifications\n

• A valid California LCSW License is mandatory.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
