Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients' mental health needs through video conferencing, ensuring a thorough understanding of their mental health status.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that address a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance abuse disorders.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, providing clients with effective coping strategies and skills to help them overcome their challenges.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and treatment progress using our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and privacy regulations.

• Provide guidance and referrals to other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and support groups, to promote comprehensive care for clients.

• Engage in continuous professional development by participating in training sessions, workshops, and relevant conferences.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele representing different backgrounds, cultures, and mental health challenges. Our patients range from adolescents to adults seeking support for issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders. Your therapeutic approach will focus on cultural competence and sensitivity, recognizing each client's unique circumstances and tailoring your strategies accordingly.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• Minimum of four years of post-licensure clinical experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating a strong foundation in therapy.

• Comprehensive knowledge of mental health disorders and effective treatment modalities, including evidence-based approaches.

• Proficient in delivering individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing culturally responsive practices to enhance client engagement.

• Strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to maintain a calm and supportive demeanor in potentially challenging situations.

• Effective communication skills with a proven capacity to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n
