Root Café, Coffeehouse & Spirits in Fennville, MI, is looking for a full-time Cook Kitchen Manager to join our small but mighty team. What You’ll Do As our Cook Kitchen Manager, you’ll play a key role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly and ensuring our food meets the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing back-of-house (BOH) operations, including food preparation and kitchen organization.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment.
- Ensuring food safety, proper handling, and presentation of all menu items.
- Collaborating with the team to create a positive, productive work environment.
- Supporting the team in delivering an exceptional customer experience.
We’re seeking a dependable, hardworking individual with a great attitude and strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- A passion for food and a commitment to quality and safety.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to keep a clean, well-run kitchen.
- A team-player mindset and the ability to work collaboratively.
