Opportunity Overview

We have an immediate opening for a Laboratory Administrative Assistant - Embryology (Bilingual Spanish Speaking)to join our team at IVF Florida in Margate, Florida .

• Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with the ability to work rotating holidays.

In this role, the Laboratory Administrative Assistant - Embryology (Bilingual Spanish Speaking) will:

• Handle shipping, receiving and disposition of samples
• Order and receive lab supplies
• Perform administrative duties as necessary
• Assist laboratory personnel in performing lab services in accordance with Federal, State, and local laws and guidelines to ensure laboratory maintains proper accreditation
• Maintain a customer service oriented environment
• Make suggestions on how to reduce lab supplies cost
• Maintain supply inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level
• Identify improvement opportunities and participate in resolving problems that are identified
• Attend meetings
• Communicate in an open, assertive manner at all times
• Document all patient care accurately and completely to assure communication with all members of the healthcare team

Qualifications and Skills Include:

• Must be locally based in South Florida
• Bachelors degree in Biology required
• Bilingual/Spanish Speaking preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to communicate accurately and concisely
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Demonstrate motivation and flexibility
• Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft office suite including Word and Excel
