This full-time position will allow you to impact the lives of those dealing with mood disorders from the comfort of a remote setting, while also working closely with clients in our outpatient office. This position offers a unique opportunity to work remotely while still connecting with clients in a supportive outpatient office setting. Our work schedule is flexible, operating Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., allowing for a work-life balance that is essential for personal well-being and professional fulfillment. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the frequency, duration, and intensity of mood disorder symptoms experienced by clients, ensuring a clear understanding of their conditions.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that address clients’ unique goals and preferences, utilizing various evidenced-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies that empower them in their recovery journeys.
\n
• Monitor client progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to align with evolving needs and therapeutic goals.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to coordinate integrated care that optimally addresses client needs.
\n
• Stay informed about recent advancements in mood disorder research to continuously enhance therapeutic techniques and treatment efficacy.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical standards, ensuring that all records reflect the care and treatment provided.

• Participate in ongoing case consultations and professional development initiatives aimed at enhancing therapeutic practices and skills.

• Advocate for clients within and outside of the therapy setting to help diminish mental health stigma and support their comprehensive needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily involve working with individuals struggling with mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and various anxiety-related conditions. Many of our clients come from diverse backgrounds, including vulnerable groups such as the homeless, refugees, or victims of domestic violence. As a therapist, you will be instrumental in helping these individuals navigate their challenges and work towards healthier, more fulfilling lives.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
\n
• Proven ability to build strong, trusting therapeutic relationships with clients through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Demonstrated empathy, sensitivity, and a nonjudgmental approach towards clients’ experiences and struggles.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills to ensure workload efficiency and responsive administrative duties.

• Experience in a remote working environment and utilizing teletherapy platforms would be beneficial.

• Competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 90,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
