Position Overview Department: Atrium Health Pineville - Radiology: Xray Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hours per week: 40 Schedule: 12:30p-10:30p Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri. Sign‑on bonus eligible based on eligibility. Pay Range: $28.55 - $42.85 Job Summary Performs radiographic examinations with minimal supervision under the direction of the Radiologist. Coordinates daily activities to include performing examinations and associated clerical duties. Major Responsibilities Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures. Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician. Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity. Prepares and administers contrast media as required. Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary. Selects and operates equipment as dictated by demands of individual procedure and demonstrates correct and adequate anatomic positioning skills. Maintains appropriate records as required by departmental standards. Minimum Job Requirements Education: Graduate of an institution accredited by an agency that ARRT recognizes in Radiologic Technology. Certification / License: Registry‑eligible with completion within one year of hire. BLS required. Work Experience: (not specified) Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development principles and appropriate skills for patients of all ages, cultures, developmental stages, and special needs. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Requires strenuous effort while assisting patients from wheelchairs and stretchers; frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, and use of power‑gripping hands; good oral and written communication; vision and hearing for distances up to 10 feet; ability to adapt to temperature and humidity changes; exposure to various physical conditions during the workday.
