Our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily for our members through following recipes and preparing our always warm and ready rotisserie chicken. We’ll also count on you to properly wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure our members have the freshest items available to take home to their families. There are times when you will juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with their bakery orders. Your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one. You won’t just prepare fresh food—you’ll help a family have a great meal. Be a part of a team that offers customers more of what they love, for less. What you'll do Ensure high-quality products are available in our prepared foods area. Ensure shelves are clean, maintaining temperature control, verifying expiration dates, and disposing of lesser-quality food products. Prepare and serve ready-to-eat food. Maintain the sales floor in accordance with company policies and procedures by properly handling claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages. Maintain a clean, sanitized, and member‑ready area. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross‑functional teams and help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources. Prepare food according to item specifications; understand and plan future productions and mass productions; prepare for seasonality while adhering to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; and demonstrate an understanding of product and layout execution. Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; utilize handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality. Drive the performance of the area; manage high exposure and expectations; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date control standards; eliminate waste; guide peers and provide attention to customer needs; assist customers according to company policies and procedures. Act as a talent ambassador; advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member's experience; model high quality service and products; exhibit energy, commitment, and passion. Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Must successfully complete all job required trainings and assessments within the prescribed time period. Preferred Qualifications Food Service experience. Food Handler Certification (Food Safety). Primary Location 39940 10th St W, Palmdale, CA 93551-3002, United States of America Compensation Hourly wage range: $19.00 to $27.00.
