Responsibilities

The Warranty Core Clerk prepares, ships, and processes core returns for the Parts Department.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect cores being returned by customers over the counter and deliveries.
• Issue approved inspection return receipt to over counter customer so cashier can issue credit.
• Inspect, approve, and sign core return receipts turned in by drivers for proper crediting.
• Return cores to other branches that carry their own core bank.
• Segregate dirty cores by vendor.
• Process vendor returns.
• Prepare daily parts cycle counts.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma.
• 3 months administrative experience.
• Knowledge of heavy duty truck mechanics preferred.
