Axelrode Orthodontics is looking for an energetic and upbeat Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator who radiates positivity and excels in delivering excellent customer service. Our ideal candidate will be extremely pleasant with a great attitude and a team player. Must be able to work under pressure in a busy office and have excellent time management and organizational skills.

Schedule & Locations

• This is a full-time position
• Monday-Thursday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM
• Friday, 9 AM - 1:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial consultations and assessment for orthodontic treatment
• Educate patients on various orthodontic treatment options and discuss treatment
• Provide financial estimates and discuss payment options with the patients and their families.
• Assist with insurance verification and billing inquiries.
• Communicate effectively with the doctors, dental team, and administrative staff.
• Handle patient inquiries, concerns and follow-up on treatment progress.
• Uphold the highest standards of patient confidentiality and privacy.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in dental assisting from an accredited program is preferred.
• Valid coronal polishing certification is required.
• Previous experience in a pediatric dental setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and office practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong emphasis on creating a comforting environment for children.
• Ability to handle stressful situations with patience and professionalism.
• Proficient in using dental software and technology.
• Valid RDA license and certification in CPR and other relevant dental certifications as required by law.
• Spanish speaking preferred
