Johnson Service Group is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner for our client for 3 different locations:

• Herndon, VA
• Grand Prairie, TX
• Bengin, WA

This will be hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day remote).

Candidates must have a minimum of 6 years of prior full lifecycle recruitment experience.  Preferred prior experience in Aerospace.  Must have strong sourcing experience and relationship-building kills with HRBP and Hiring Manager teams.  Candidates must have prior experience in both White Collar (Professional) and Blue Collar (Production) recruitment.

Position Summary

The Talent Acquisition Partner (Contract) is responsible for sourcing, screening, and recommending candidates for roles at all levels (entry level through senior leadership). This level of TA Partner will develop and deploy advanced sourcing strategies, including cold calling and network development. Responsibilities include building applicant pools, establishing trust/partnerships with managers, identifying fit through interviewing and testing, administering the interviewing and onboarding process, ensuring a positive new-hire experience, and developing/executing recruitment plans/strategies to meet hiring goals. All activities must comply with EEO laws, HIPAA, ERISA, and other applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities (“Your Challenges”)

Recruitment of Roles Assigned — 50%

• Consult with leaders, hiring managers, and HR on position descriptions, requisition creation, compensation, and sourcing strategies.
• Deliver high-quality short lists.
• Perform TA activities: resume & phone screens, interviews, recommend final selections, and close qualified candidates.
• Place/update job postings across various media: internet/intranet sites, colleges, social networks, community boards, staffing partners.
• Maintain ATS, recruiting reports, and staffing administration as needed.
• Respond timely to internal/external applicant situations and applicant requests.
• Conduct regular follow-up with managers to assess recruiting effectiveness.
• May require work outside normal business hours.

Sourcing Strategy and Activities — 15%

• Research and recommend new sources for active/passive recruiting.
• Build networks/partnerships to develop candidate pipeline/database
• Collaborate with hiring teams on sourcing strategies for assigned roles.

Workforce Development Support — 20%

• Partner with Business HR leaders to anticipate TA needs and create new pipelines to meet business demand.

Recruitment Event Support — 10%

• Represent company at recruiting events (e.g., college job fairs) by sharing company/job info and interviewing applicants.
• Give presentations at colleges, attend student group meetings, and increase college awareness before/after career fairs.
• Support the business in identifying/alignment of events for target candidate pools; assist with registration once agreed.

Minimum Requirements

• 6+ years progressive experience in talent acquisition, candidate sourcing, and interviewing.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Required Knowledge / Skills / Demonstrated Capabilities

• Strong understanding of staffing principles, laws, procedures, and recruitment/employment programs.
• Knowledge of U.S. Employment and Labor Laws and applying them to recruiting and the ATS.
• Knowledge of the regional labor market.
• Demonstrated knowledge of recruiting techniques; experience with online/social media recruiting.
• Experience and/or exposure in the assigned area of responsibility (ideal).
• Ability to communicate and effectively “sell” an organization’s value proposition.
• Excellent oral/written communication, marketing, presentation, interviewing, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service, negotiation skills, and ability to interact with employees at all levels.
• Self-starter with strong time management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.
• Strong work ethic, integrity, trustworthiness, and ability to maintain high confidentiality.
• Creative problem-solver; proposes new ideas/solutions.

Technical Systems Proficiency (Required)

• Google Suite productivity tools
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) + Google Suite
• Proficient in Applicant Tracking Systems
• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools
