Marketing & Events ManagerNorthwood Office seeks a proactive, collaborative and innovative Marketing & Events Manager to manage The Bowl and TD Amp's marketing efforts, as well as provide support for additional assets in Charlotte as needed. The ideal candidate is creative, communicative, forward-thinking, and exhibits exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills with a team-player mentality.ResponsibilitiesCreate, implement and evaluate retail marketing, communication, social media, event, activation and other engagement strategies to generate brand awareness and drive sales for The BowlCollaborate with internal marketing & communications team and agencies/freelancers on marketing campaign conceptsEnsure brand voice is consistent across all print, digital and new business outreach effortsCreate content and distribution for social media and marketing email campaigns, including copywriting, gathering images and coordinating graphic designManage websites for retail center(s) and TD AmpWrite and distribute press releases to national and regional trade and consumer publications; develop story ideas; draft talking points for media interviews; and serve as a media spokespersonDevelop and manage budget and allocate resources accordinglyManage process for updating on-site collateral, directories, kiosk maps, leasing packets, etc.Develop an event and activation calendar for each propertyPlan, coordinate and execute large-scale property-specific eventsBuild relationships with local and national influencers, as well as community partners and city stakeholdersIdentify sponsorship opportunities for the retail center(s), including building local relationships, brainstorming ideas and creating supplemental pitch materialsMonitor center sales and focus on helping to push tenants to reach their respective goalsMonitor and archive earned media coverage, monthly email reports, website analytics and social media metrics and circulate as neededAbility to be on-site on evenings and weekends when executing events for retail center(s) and TD AmpPerform other duties as neededQualificationsEffective written and verbal communication and presentation skillsExceptional customer service skills to work well with both internal and external customersExceptional collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate and balance initiatives with internal and external stakeholders across multiple departmentsProven project management skills and a focus on completing initiatives on budget and deadlineWilling to work in a fast-paced environment with an openness to change as the firm evolvesSelf-motivated, responsible and personable with a strong work ethic, positive attitude and high degree of integrityProactive and resourceful in pursuing new opportunities, concepts, etc.Possess and demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of social media fundamentalsDemonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the development and execution of marketing, social/digital communications, events and public relations initiativesStrong understanding of metrics and reporting (Google Analytics 4, SEO)Proven track record of execution of successful events of varying typesMust be detail-oriented and well-organizedUnderstanding of existing retail offerings and demographics in the trade area and regional marketDemonstrated leadership, strategic-thinking, conflict resolution and consensus-building skillsSkilled at diplomacy, including active listening and staying calm under pressureSponsorship experience preferredGraphic design experience a plusBachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, hospitality, or related fieldThree to five years in retail and/or related shopping center experience and/or entertainment venues
