Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations that include assessment of presenting issues, history, and current mental status to create individualized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, adapting your approach to meet each client's unique needs.

• Lead and facilitate psychoeducational and support groups, fostering a sense of community among clients and encouraging peer support.

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure integrated patient care.

• Deliver crisis intervention services as needed, guiding clients through mental health emergencies with professionalism and empathy.

• Educate clients about their mental health conditions and available resources, promoting empowerment and self-advocacy.

• Document client interactions accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations, staff meetings, and professional enhancement activities to share insights and develop best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily support a diverse clientele, with a focus on individuals suffering from various mental health disorders, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse issues. Each session will involve tailored support integrating clinical expertise with empathy, aiming for both short- and long-term improvements in patients’ well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health diagnoses and treatments, along with a commitment to using evidence-based practice in therapy.

• Demonstrated experience conducting mental health assessments and developing treatment plans effective for varied populations.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and trust with clients and colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits\n
