Touch of Peace Counseling Services is seeking compassionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapists to join our team. This full-time remote position focuses on delivering high-quality mental health care to diverse clients through telehealth services. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate patients' psychological states and develop individualized treatment plans based on their specific needs.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to individuals, couples, and families.

• Lead psychoeducational and support groups to create a sense of community and shared learning among patients grappling with similar mental health challenges.

• Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to provide integrated and holistic care to our clients.

• Offer crisis intervention services, providing immediate support and guidance during mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients about their mental health conditions and available treatment options, focusing on empowerment and informed decision-making.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in accordance with HIPAA and professional ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to continually improve therapeutic practices.

• Stay informed about the latest developments in mental health research and apply new knowledge to clinical practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey is essential.

• A strong understanding of mental health diagnoses, evidence-based interventions, and various therapeutic modalities.

• Experience in conducting mental health assessments and designing effective treatment strategies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
