Preferred candidates will bring experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, a passion for helping students thrive, and the ability to adapt interventions for school-aged children. You'll serve as a vital member of the educational team, developing individualized education plans and implementing therapy that fosters academic and personal confidence.
Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina SLP license
- NC Teaching Certification
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Experience in school-based, healthcare, or pediatric SLP settings highly desired
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children
- Develop and implement IEPs in line with state and district guidelines
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation and progress reporting
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student success
- Utilize evidence-based practices for therapy sessions
- Adapt to the unique needs of each student, monitoring progress and adjusting goals as necessary
