Float Pool RNs report to the clinical coordinator prior to each shift for their assignment. Travelers may be assigned a primary “parent unit” and will care for basic telemetry patients within their scope.\n .Required Certifications\n \n BLS\n ACLS\n Required Skills / Experience\n \n Med/Surg and telemetry experience\n Must be able to read and interpret cardiac rhythms\n All travelers must take and pass a cardiac rhythm exam\n No titration of drips required\n Staffing\n Every unit has a charge RN.\n \n Day charge typically does not take patients\n Night charge does take a patient assignment\n CNAs are utilized on all units\n Scheduling\n \n 12-hour shifts\n Days: 7A–7P\n Nights: 7P–7A\n Weekend requirement: Every other weekend\n Weekend shifts: Saturday/Sunday\n Holidays: Travelers rotate with permanent staff\n Orientation\n 1–2 precepted shiftsScrubs\n Royal BlueCancellation Policy\n Facility may cancel up to 2 shifts per 13-week contract.\n \n Recruiter Notes: Strong fit for an experienced Med/Surg Tele RN who is comfortable floating, managing 1:5–6 assignments, and independently interpreting telemetry.
