This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Vice President, Banking & Financial Services Industry Leader based in the United States.

This is a senior industry-facing leadership role focused on shaping and scaling a major financial services vertical within a global enterprise SaaS organization. You will be responsible for defining go-to-market strategy, driving revenue growth, and establishing strong brand authority across the Banking and Financial Services sector. Acting as both strategist and industry evangelist, you will work across sales, product, marketing, and solutions teams to influence high-value deals and accelerate market penetration. The role blends executive-level client engagement with hands-on involvement in complex enterprise opportunities. You will help position advanced digital experience and analytics solutions as essential tools for large financial institutions. This is a high-impact, highly visible role requiring deep industry credibility and strong cross-functional leadership in a remote-first, global environment.

Accountabilities:

You will lead the strategy, execution, and market expansion efforts for the Banking & Financial Services vertical, driving revenue growth, competitive positioning, and executive-level influence across global financial institutions. This includes shaping go-to-market direction, enabling sales success, and representing the organization at the highest levels of the industry.

• Define and execute the Banking & Financial Services industry strategy, including go-to-market planning, positioning, and revenue growth initiatives
• Partner with sales teams to secure strategic accounts, expand enterprise relationships, and win high-value financial services clients
• Develop vertical-specific messaging, competitive positioning, and playbooks to drive adoption and market differentiation
• Act as executive sponsor on key deals, supporting late-stage negotiations, procurement challenges, and security reviews
• Lead competitive strategy to displace incumbents by articulating clear ROI in areas such as fraud detection, digital experience, and operational efficiency
• Build and scale industry-specific enablement materials to accelerate sales effectiveness and consistency
• Collaborate with product teams to align solutions with banking compliance, security, and regulatory requirements
• Represent the organization externally through analyst relations, conferences, thought leadership, and industry forums
• Leverage executive relationships to connect with senior banking stakeholders, including CIOs, CDOs, and risk leaders
• Drive cross-functional alignment across product, marketing, and solutions engineering to support vertical growth

Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings deep Banking & Financial Services expertise combined with strong experience in enterprise technology or SaaS environments. You are a trusted industry voice capable of influencing executive stakeholders and shaping strategic outcomes without direct ownership of every function.

• Extensive experience in Banking & Financial Services, ideally in a senior digital, technology, or transformation leadership role
• Prior experience in SaaS or enterprise B2B technology focused on digital experience, analytics, or customer platforms (preferred)
• Strong understanding of banking procurement cycles, security reviews, and regulatory compliance frameworks
• Proven ability to translate digital and operational insights into measurable business outcomes such as risk reduction, fraud prevention, or revenue growth
• Deep understanding of enterprise sales motions and the ability to influence complex deals without direct sales ownership
• Strong executive communication skills with the ability to engage C-level stakeholders effectively
• Demonstrated experience influencing cross-functional teams across product, marketing, and sales environments
• Strategic mindset with a clear perspective on how to win in the BFSI sector and navigate decision-making structures
• Ability to operate in a high-growth, fast-moving environment with travel up to 25%
