Civil Litigation Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Civil Litigation Attorney in Rockville, Maryland. The firm is looking for attorneys with varying levels of experience to join their team and handle a diverse range of civil litigation matters. This role offers the opportunity to work with experienced professionals and engage with clients across multiple jurisdictions. Duties Manage cases from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation. Draft motions, briefs, and legal memoranda. Take and defend depositions. Appear in court, hearings, and mediations. Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and courts. Develop case strategies and provide legal analysis. Collaborate with attorneys and support staff. Requirements 10+ years of civil litigation experience for senior-level positions. Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex litigation. Experience in construction litigation, insurance defense, or coverage matters. Strong leadership, client management, and case strategy skills. Trial experience preferred. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Licensed to practice law in the state of Maryland. Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
