Accounts Payable Specialist

Why You’ll Love This Opportunity Competitive salary of $55,000–$60,000 (DOE) Stable and growing organization Supportive and collaborative accounting team Diverse responsibilities that keep the role engaging Opportunity to work with SAP and expand your accounting experience Professional, team-oriented culture where contributions are valued Key Responsibilities Manage the full-cycle accounts payable process Perform three-way matching and enter approved invoices into SAP Process weekly vendor payments by check, ACH, and credit card Maintain accurate vendor records, W-9s, and compliance documentation Reconcile bank accounts, AP aging reports, prepaid expenses, petty cash, and credit card transactions Assist with month-end close activities Prepare and issue annual 1099 forms Respond to vendor inquiries and help resolve payment issuesProvide general accounting and administrative support Assist with occasional front desk coverage, including greeting visitors and managing incoming calls Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of Accounts Payable or general accounting experience Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience Strong understanding of accounts payable, invoicing, general ledger, chart of accounts, and basic financial statements Experience with SAP or another ERP or accounting system preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills Professional, dependable, and comfortable handling confidential financial information Strong customer service and teamwork skills This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and ready to grow with a respected organization.
