Description: 2 weekend call shifts a month when we ask for 4 shifts total - 2 weekend and 2 weeknight.

Skills: Phase I PACU, Phase II Recovery, Endo/Laparoscopic, General, Ortho, Ortho/Spine, Ortho/Total joints

Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS

Unit Details: RNs need to have a mandatory competency with phlebotomy as well as placing IVs as this is a required skill for any RN at Unity.

Patient Ratios: Days: 3, Nights: 3, Weekends: -

Interdisciplinary Support: IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Transportation, Unit Secretary

Patient Diagnoses: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics

State License: NY license is required in hand to submit

Candidates within 75 miles of facility are not accepted

Candidates will float - yes

Charting Experience: EPIC experience is a hard requirement

Background policy: reviewed on case-by-case basis

Return staff policy: 1 year

Modules: Modules are billable, up to 5 hours. Total module time may reach 10 hours. Any time spent in excess of 5 hours is non-billable. Modules are completed pre-start, and vary by specialty. Modules are recorded via facility report.
