Your Key Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced radiographic and CT techniques to acquire precise diagnostic imaging for interpretation by physicians
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive understanding and accurate diagnoses
• Position patients properly and adjust equipment settings to deliver optimal imaging results
• Enforce strict radiation safety protocols to protect both patients and colleagues
• Keep meticulous records, including imaging logs and maintenance of equipment
• Deliver empathetic patient care throughout every step of the imaging process
• Foster a safe and organized imaging atmosphere, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness

Educational Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is essential; a Bachelor's Degree will be advantageous
• Graduation from a recognized radiology educational program is required

Certifications Needed

• ARRT certification in CT and/or Radiography is mandatory
• Active BLS certification or the capability to secure it within 90 days of employment

Essential Skills

• Expertise in diagnostic imaging techniques and a firm understanding of safety standards
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and members of the medical team
