Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic Ultrasound / Sonography Technologist to join our collaborative imaging team. You will operate advanced ultrasound technology to perform high-quality diagnostic examinations, joining forces with a network of clinicians who share a commitment to exceptional patient care.

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound evaluations, such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, providing explanations that ensure understanding
• Work closely with radiologists and referring healthcare providers to deliver top-tier diagnostic results
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, addressing any technical issues as needed
• Document all procedures meticulously and keep accurate patient records within our electronic medical system
• Engage in continuous education to remain informed of the latest advancements in ultrasound technology

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a relevant field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent credential
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed

• Proficient technical skills in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
