Compliance Responsibilities Compliance with Local Employment Requirements Supports processes for I-9 compliance, E-Verify, and monitoring legal status for international students and foreign workers Supports processes for all US legal compliance for employment laws and regulations Support ADA processes for legal compliance with mandated state and local disability laws Response to Subpoenas Support compliance for federally (FMLA), state, and locally mandated leaves. Training and Support for Managers Legal Employment Eligibility Governmental/Court Employment Verifications Requirements Bachelor’s degree in a related field or any combination of equivalent education and work experience Beginning to working knowledge of HR legal compliance Familiarity of best practices of HR functions. Key skills and core competencies include the ability to: o Be organized with strong attention to detail Manage and prioritize multiple deliverables effectively Demonstrate strong time management skills Deliver excellent customer service Problem solve and provide effective solutions Communicate effectively in writing and verbally Apply policy and law to business situations Collaborate and work effectively in a team To successfully perform the essential functions of the job there may be physical requirements which need to be met such as sitting for extended periods of time and using computer monitors/equipment.
