Job Title Research Associate II - Research & Early Development Location Tucson, AZ 85755 Duration 08/10/2026 to 08/09/2027 Payrate $27-32/hr on W2 Description Key Skills and Attributes 2-4 years of post-college experience in a research, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or a medical devices environment or industry Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences or Engineering Ideal candidate will combine operational discipline with a flexible, agile mindset Comfortable following established protocols while maintaining the initiative to proactively solve challenges as they arise. Collaborative spirit and intellectual honesty—specifically, a readiness to ask for help when needed—as well as a genuine openness to feedback and professional coaching. The Opportunity Support a flagship program, primarily focusing on slide imaging and image acquisition on systems such as the DP600s, 200s, the VS200, and multispectral flash instruments. The individuals in these roles will perform repetitive, well-defined tasks, including virtual staining and assembling slide cohorts, which will ultimately enable the team to generate AI algorithms. Responsibilities Executes experimental protocols with minimal supervision. Executes bench experiments; makes detailed and general observations and analyzes data. Prepares technical reports, summaries and quantitative analyses. Maintains complete and accurate records.
