Description - Your Role

• Conduct both routine and specialized laboratory tests-covering areas such as chemistry, hematology, immunology, and various other disciplines-following established protocols with exactitude.
• Examine test results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist in sample collection and preparation, ensuring specimens are ready for testing as necessary.
• Document all processes diligently, mentor incoming staff or interns, and ensure adherence to the highest lab quality standards.
• Maintain a safe and tidy work environment while complying with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree, alongside the preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Achieve ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within the first year of employment.
• Keep your certification active throughout your tenure with us.
