Company Info
We are partnering with a well-established company seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Associate to support their Accounts Receivable team. This is a great opportunity to join a stable organization with a collaborative accounting department and strong internal processes.

Job Summary

Generate and process customer invoices daily with a high level of accuracy
Apply incoming payments including ACH, credit cards, and checks
Monitor accounts receivable aging and report overdue accounts
Assist with billing processes across multiple customer portals
Support month-end close including journal entries and account reconciliations
Prepare and maintain reports on sales, inventory, and A/R metrics
Conduct research and resolve billing discrepancies or customer inquiries
Maintain and update customer and vendor records in internal systems
Assist with audits, pricing reviews, and data analysis
Provide backup support to other accounting functions as needed

Schedule
Monday-Friday, Day Shift
Occasional overtime as needed

Pay
$20.00-$24.00/hour (based on experience)

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required
2+ years of accounting or accounts receivable experience
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
Experience with invoicing, cash application, and reconciliations
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Strong communication skills with both internal teams and external partners
Professional demeanor and ability to handle confidential information

Preferred:

Associate's degree or higher in Accounting or related field
Knowledge of GAAP principles
Experience with inventory or cost accounting
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
