Job Title: Cardiovascular Operating Room Surgical Tech
Profession: Surgical Tech

Hours per Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience: Minimum 2 years
License: Required
Certifications: BLS (AHA), Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA

Must-Have:
- Open heart and endovascular experience

Description:
Hiring process includes a profile review and an interview with the unit manager.
Self-scheduling and block scheduling are allowed.
Call requirements include one weekday per week and one weekend per month.
The facility has a response time of 30 minutes for call.
Floating to general operating room is required based on need.
The hospital can cancel shifts as per the assignment policy.
Unit-specific orientation will occur before starting in the CVOR.
Common cases include hearts, vascular, thoracic, general, neuro, spine, robotics, and ortho.
The average number of cases per day is around 30.
The charting system used is EPIC.
