Overview Registered Nurse – ER, Fairfield, IA, United States. Start 07/06/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment in a Critical Access Hospital ER. Direct and/or coordinate patient teaching and activities of ancillary personnel; maintain professional nursing standards. Monitor and document patient conditions, administer medications, and respond to changes in patient status. Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to implement and adjust care plans. Ensure accurate documentation, adherence to policies, and infection control practices; uphold patient safety and confidentiality. Requirements Active Iowa RN license in good standing BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC required Graduate of an accredited nursing program ER nursing experience preferred, but not required Ability to work the listed schedule and in a Critical Access Hospital ER; ability to meet health and credentialing requirements Additional Health & Credentialing Notes Immunizations: MMR, Varicella (titer or vaccination as appropriate), Polio, Hepatitis B (series or titer), TDaP, and annual flu vaccination TB testing: 2-step TB within 1 year or QuantiFERON Gold with chest x-ray if positive Physical examination within 1 year; 10-panel drug screen within 1 month Respiratory Fit Test (available through client if needed) Comprehensive background checks and clearances per policy (including criminal background, OIG, SAM.gov where applicable, and mandatory reporter training) Documentation of licensure, certifications, and health items prior to start date Benefits and Support Guaranteed hours for the 13-week assignment Competitive weekly pay (range listed above) Travel assignment with dedicated recruiter and ongoing support Credentialing coordination and onboarding assistance to meet start date Ongoing assignment support throughout the contract Pay Disclaimer Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
