Job Details Employment Type: Travel Nursing Job Assignment Length: 13 weeks Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours Shift Duration: 12-hour days Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010 Unit Setting: Telemetry / Med-Surg Tele / Float Pool Location: Salem, MA Charting System: EPIC Schedule Notes: May include rotation between days, evenings, and occasional nights Environment: Supportive acute care hospital with free on-site parking Job Requirements Active Massachusetts RN license AHA BLS certification At least 1 year of recent acute care nursing experience required; 2 years preferred Experience as a Telemetry RN with ability to read and interpret telemetry strips Comfort managing cardiac drips and patients requiring close monitoring Ability to work in a float pool setting and adapt quickly to changing patient needs Experience with TR band care preferred Strong assessment, prioritization, and communication skills Prior travel nurse experience preferred Responsibilities Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret telemetry strips throughout the shift Provide safe, effective nursing care for patients across multiple Med-Surg Tele and float units Manage cardiac drips and support patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring Measure intervals and complete telemetry assessments every 4 hours as needed Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support ED border patients, ICU transfer-ready patients, and other assigned populations Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately in EPIC Adapt to different unit workflows while maintaining excellent patient care standards Support a patient-to-nurse ratio that may vary based on shift and unit needs Why Join This Travel RN Opportunity?
