Job Details Position: Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) Employment Type: Travel Contract Duration: 13 weeks Weekly Hours: 36 hours Shift Duration: 12-hour night shifts Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 - $2,010 Setting: 37-bed medical telemetry unit Charting System: EPIC Location: Salem, Massachusetts Job Requirements Active Massachusetts RN license AHA BLS certification Telemetry certification Minimum of 2 years of experience in one clinical setting Minimum of 2 years of travel nursing experience Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips Experience with cardiac drips preferred Comfortable floating to applicable units as needed Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills Responsibilities Provide skilled care to telemetry patients with a variety of cardiac and medical diagnoses Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient condition Administer and manage cardiac drips and related treatments Care for patients recovering from cardiac catheterization and pacemaker procedures Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support safe, efficient patient outcomes Deliver compassionate nursing care to patients with conditions such as CHF, atrial fibrillation, pulmonary embolism, and pneumonia Float to appropriate units when needed to support patient care needs Document accurately in EPIC and maintain high standards of clinical practice Apply now to take the next step in your Massachusetts travel nurse jobs search and join a team that values expert clinical care and teamwork.
