Part-Time Bookkeeper

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper for a client in Walnut Creek, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking for a consistent 20-hour workweek while maintaining a healthy balance outside of work.

The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on bookkeeping experience, knowledge of Yardi, and the ability to independently manage accounting responsibilities in a smaller office environment. If you are looking to put your experience to work without committing to a full-time schedule, this could be a great fit.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate general ledger and financial records
• Process invoices, payments, and ownership distributions
• Reconcile multiple bank accounts each month
• Prepare month-end and year-end financial reports
• Gather and organize financial information for tax preparation
• Manage W-9 documentation and annual 1099 processing
• Maintain business licenses, entity filings, and related records
• Assist with insurance documentation and renewals
• Coordinate with outside property management providers
• Maintain organized financial and administrative files
• Process incoming mail and assist with general office needs
• Provide additional bookkeeping and administrative support as needed

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of bookkeeping experience
• Experience with Yardi a plus
• Strong general ledger and bank reconciliation skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Comfortable handling confidential financial information
• AA or BA in Accounting a plus

Schedule:

• Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week
• Consistent part-time schedule
• On-site in Walnut Creek, CA

Pay: $35.00 to $45.00 per hour doe
