About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Academic Affairs and Associate Designated Institutional Official to play a pivotal role in the modernization and innovation of residency education. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all operational and administrative functions within the academic affairs division, with a strong focus on architecting cutting-edge curricula, integrating advanced clinical technologies, and implementing competency-based education models. This role demands a transformative leader who is ready to challenge the status quo, champion physician wellness, and redefine graduate medical education on a national stage. The VPAA/ADIO will also be tasked with spearheading institutional growth, inspiring faculty and residents, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, well-accredited GME training. Applicants must meet the company's EOS© People Analyzer Tool criteria, be mission-oriented, and have a terminal degree (Master's preferred) with experience in an educational environment. Medical education experience is highly desirable, particularly in the areas of accreditation, curriculum development, and faculty and staff development. The role requires strong supervisory, leadership, and personnel management skills, as well as the ability to teach, mentor, and evaluate a diverse range of learners. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in GME policies and procedures, operations, culture, outcomes, and finances, and be adept at problem-solving, decision-making, and maintaining a high level of accuracy in data management. Proficiency in Google and Microsoft platforms is essential, and the ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality is a must.
