Position: Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)

Location: Lynnwood, WA

Shift Information

Schedule: 4x9.5 Hour Shift (07:45 AM - 05:15 PM)
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday
Days Off: Thursdays and weekends

Position Overview

The Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) will be responsible for providing support in a primary care outpatient clinic setting. This role requires reliable transportation and the capability to float to additional clinics as needed after the initial training period.

Key Responsibilities

Administering medications and treatments under the supervision of healthcare providers.
Preparing and maintaining patient charts and records.
Conducting patient assessments including obtaining vital signs and medical histories.
Assisting with examinations and procedures as required.
Scheduling appointments and managing follow-up calls.
Performing a variety of office tasks related to patient care and clinic operations.

Qualifications

Must possess a Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) credential.
At least 6 months of experience working as a Medical Assistant in an outpatient clinic setting, preferably in cardiology.
Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly EPIC, is preferred.
Certifications: BLS required.

Expectations and Other Information

The candidate should be prepared to float between sister clinics as needed for staffing purposes. Reliable transportation is necessary, and no additional scheduling restrictions should be present.

Additional Information

Scrubs will be provided, and all personnel are expected to adhere to infection control and patient safety practices. Professional behavior and teamwork are essential to ensure high-quality patient care.
