Administrative Landman

Mineral Resources Partners (MRP)/ PIE Operating is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Landman with a strong Land Analyst background to support the Land, Legal, and Operations teams. This role will focus on maintaining accurate land records, assisting with ownership and lease administration, supporting regulatory compliance, and coordinating documentation related to oil and gas operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in land administration, title review, contract management, and regulatory support within the oil and gas industry. Key Responsibilities Maintain and organize lease records, contracts, division orders, title documents, and related land files Assist with tracking lease obligations, expirations, rentals, shut-ins, and other critical deadlines Support ownership research and review title documentation, deeds, assignments, and curative materials Coordinate and maintain land databases and electronic filing systems Prepare and process assignments, ratifications, amendments, and other land-related agreements Work closely with attorneys, landmen, operators, and regulatory agencies regarding land matters Assist with due diligence for acquisitions, divestitures, and operational projects Support regulatory filings and compliance matters with state and federal agencies Review and reconcile ownership information, well data, and revenue-related records Assist with AFE tracking, well files, and operational reporting as needed Generate reports, spreadsheets, and summaries for management and internal teams Provide administrative support to the Land department, including scheduling, document coordination, and correspondence management Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in Energy Management, Business, Finance, Legal Studies, or related field 5+ years of experience in Land Administration, Land Analyst, or oil and gas land support roles preferred Strong understanding of oil and gas leases, title documents, ownership records, and land administration processes Experience with land software and databases preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and document management systems Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally Preferred Experience Experience supporting regulatory filings and compliance matters Familiarity with division orders, JIBs, and well ownership structures Exposure to acquisitions/divestitures and due diligence projects Experience working in a fast-paced independent oil and gas company environment Full-time, in-office position Based in The Woodlands, Texas Collaborative and team-oriented environment supporting multiple departments within PIE Operating #J-18808-Ljbffr PIE Operating, LLC
