Skid Steer Operator

Twin City Staffing is hiring a skid steer operator for a busy recycling facility in Shakopee, MN! In this role, you will operate skid steers and sit-down forklifts to transport recyclable materials, load processing hoppers, and stage trailers across the yard. Location: Shakopee, MN

Wage: $19.00 - $22.00/hr. (Depending on experience)

Hours: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM or 3:30 PM | Monday - Friday

Duties of the skid steer operator:

Operate a skid steer to transport, organize, and shift recyclable materials throughout the yard
Operate a sit-down forklift to move, load, and stage palletized materials and inventory
Load processing hoppers, trailers, and recycling equipment safely and efficiently
Assist with daily recycling operations, general yard cleanup, and facility safety maintenance

Requirements of the skid steer operator:

Prior experience operating sit-down forklifts in an industrial, warehouse, or yard setting
Prior skid steer operation experience is preferred (training is available for candidates with strong forklift backgrounds)
Physical ability to work actively in outdoor weather conditions throughout the shift
Capability to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively
Reliable personal transportation to and from the job site daily
