Account Manager, Communities Id.me is a high‑growth enterprise software company simplifying how people prove and share their identity online. With a network of 117 million registered members, we support federal agencies, state governments, and over 600 consumer brands. Role Overview: The Account Manager (AM) is a senior, quota‑carrying position responsible for the health, retention, and expansion of our most critical commercial and e‑retailing accounts. You will own and grow a book of business within the Communities segment, ensuring full net retention and year‑over‑year growth. Key Responsibilities Revenue Ownership & Growth Quota Attainment: Carry and exceed a formal quota composed of both Renewal Revenue (GRR) and Expansion (NRR). Land & Expand Strategy: Identify whitespace within current customers to expand Community Verification products. Upsell Execution: Lead the end‑to‑end sales cycle for expansion opportunities. Lifecycle Management: Proactively manage renewal starting 180 days out. Churn Mitigation: Identify at‑risk accounts early by monitoring usage health. Contract Negotiation: Navigate procurement hurdles and secure multi‑year renewals. Strategic Account Governance Executive Alignment: Build relationships with key decision makers in procurement. Executive Business Reviews (EBRs): Translate performance data into ROI stories. Voice of the Customer: Serve as liaison between clients and product teams. Qualifications Experience & Expertise The Commercial Tech Veteran: 5+ years in a quota‑carrying account management, customer success, or hunter sales role. Industry Knowledge: Deep knowledge of e‑commerce, MarTech, and performance marketing personas. Quota Performance: A track record of achieving quota and retention targets. Deal Complexity: Experience managing portfolios with ACVs $100k–$1m on 6–12 month cycles. Commercial Savvy: Navigate complex retail organizations and maintain account stability. Analytical Growth Mindset: Model multi‑year growth plans for large retailers. Collaborative Leadership: Work closely with Marketing, Solutions Consulting, and Customer Success. Startup Agility: Entrepreneurial spirit in a growth‑stage team. Consultative Problem Solving: Strong planning, time management, and customer‑centric solutioning. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Gross Retention Rate (GRR): Ensuring contracts renew on time. Net Revenue Retention (NRR): Growth via upsells and cross‑sells. Pipeline Velocity: Speed of expansion opportunities through the procurement funnel. Compensation & Benefits Annual base salary: USD 129,500 – 153,370 (Mountain View, CA: USD 129,500 – 161,000). Base salary does not include bonus or equity.
