Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments by meeting with clients to accurately determine their mental health status and individual needs.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.

• Provide consistent therapy sessions, utilizing techniques appropriate for individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and other mental health disorders.

• Continuously evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Maintain thorough and confidential record-keeping in compliance with HIPAA regulations and best practices.

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay abreast of the latest therapeutic techniques and maintain state licensure.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will work with at Hopeful Horizons vary greatly in age, background, and presenting issues. You will encounter individuals facing challenges like mood disorders, trauma, addiction, family dynamics, and more. Your role as a counselor will involve building trust and rapport with clients to create a safe space for therapeutic exploration. With your professional guidance and support, clients will gain the tools necessary to overcome their challenges and improve their overall mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.

• A current and valid professional license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of four years of experience working in mental health counseling with diverse patient populations.
\n
• A strong understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment approaches, and cultural competence in therapy.

• Proficient in delivering individual and group therapy, particularly using culturally attuned techniques.

Compensation and Benefits\n
