Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – North Carolina

Schedule: Every other weekend required; scheduling must meet departmental needs. No block scheduling. Flexibility to work in all sections of the Emergency Department required.

• High-volume facility with over 100,000 annual visits; typical patient ratios of 4:1 for medical cases
• Cerner documentation system with modern equipment including Baxter pumps and GE monitors
• No floating outside of the Emergency Department; must be open to working all ED sections

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in an Emergency Department setting
• 2 years of experience in a Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, or high-volume (100,000+ visits) Emergency Department preferred
• Required certifications prior to submission: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, ENPC
• CPI certification required before date of hire
• Strong teamwork mentality with ability to coach and provide real-time feedback
• Flexibility to work in all areas of the Emergency Department
