Manufacturing Materials Coordinator - 1st Shift

Job Description

Machine Build Readiness Coordinator / Manufacturing Coordinator (Materials & Assembly Support)

Location: Plymouth, MN
Pay: $21/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

We are seeking a Machine Build Readiness Coordinator to support manufacturing and machine assembly operations. This position plays a key role in ensuring parts, materials, and documentation are organized and ready for production teams.

Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and check in commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) parts and custom machine components
Track and monitor outstanding parts to ensure materials are available when needed
Organize, consolidate, and stage components for machine assembly
Prepare, print, and maintain required documentation including schematics, work instructions, and technical documents
Coordinate with technicians, machine shop teams, and internal requesters to resolve missing, incorrect, or delayed parts
Package, crate, and pallet completed kits for shipment
Communicate completion status and readiness of materials to internal teams
Maintain accurate records and support smooth workflow between departments

Qualifications:

Strong organizational skills with excaellent attention to detail
Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities
Experience working in manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, inventory, or production environments preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Mechanically inclined with general technical knowledge preferred
Basic familiarity with SolidWorks or engineering drawings is a plus
Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as needed
High school diploma or GED required
Background check, drug screen, and employment verification upon hire
