Production Leader Opportunity

We are searching for an experienced production leader! This role requires strong communication skills, experience with multiple product lines, thinking ahead, problem-solving and an unwavering commitment to quality & customer service. Recognizing how the role we play in production influences a customer to choose our product over the next. This is a leadership position that assists in making decisions on all aspects of the Fresh Seasons Kitchen business. This includes new products, R&D, equipment investments, and will lead the production and assembly aspects of our business. etc.

The ideal candidate has food production experience, loves winning, strong in problem-solving, solution-focused, detail-oriented, driven, self-directed, exhibits leadership qualities and excels at working as a key member of a team. The ability to multi-task while maintaining clear, positive communication (internally and externally) and adapting/contributing to this fast-growing organization, is essential in this position.

Essential Functions:

• Production Scheduling
• Team Training & Employee Development
• Lead Production Teams
• Assist in Managing Inventory and Orders
• Assumes Personal Responsibility for a Safe and Healthy Workplace
• Adhere to All Safety Policies and Procedures
• Oversee Regulatory Compliance, Including USDA
• Work in Tandem with QA Director to Ensure Proper Processes and Training for Teams' Development
• Manage Line Equipment, Employees and Raw Materials
• Identify Problems, Coordinate and Facilitate Meetings to Identify and Implement Solutions
• Supervise and Manage Employees by Ensuring All Company Policies and Procedures Are Followed
• Conduct Frequent Line Tours and Adhere to Standard Work
• Ensure All Paperwork is Accurate, Complete and on Time
• Communicate with Managers and Other Supervisors about Status of Employees and Production
• Lead and Conduct Safety Training and Make Sure All Employees Have Required Safety Equipment
• Promote Team Environment and Facilitate Cross-Functional Teams to Drive Safety, Quality and Productivity Improvements
• Ensure All Policies, Procedures and Activities Related to Food Safety & Quality are Followed and Compplied With to Reduce Product and Process Variability
• Ownership for Regulatory Compliance with the FDA, USDA, and Minnesota Department of Agriculture are a Key Responsibility in this Role
• Performs Other Related Duties Assigned by Leadership
