Position Overview LaPlante Electric Inc. of Scarborough, ME is actively seeking a motivated full‑time Customer Service Representative – CSR to assist our clients with all their inquiries and ensure they have the best experience with us. This is a 100% in‑office position. About LaPlante Electric Inc. We are a Maine‑based family‑run company that specializes in electrical services and installations, including standby generator and ductless heat pump services. Founded in 1974 by Mike LaPlante, we have grown from a single pickup truck to a team that values fairness, respect, and honesty. We offer 24/7 customer service and emergency night or weekend service to keep our clients happy and exceed expectations. A Day in the Life of a Customer Service Representative – CSR As a Customer Service Representative, you are essential to our electrical services as a client‑facing employee. You warmly greet customers by phone and in‑person, maintain regular communication with them throughout the project process, and keep our files updated and organized. You assist owners in special customer service‑related projects and provide coverage for service, project, and other client experience personnel who are extremely busy or on vacation. You manage client inquiries in a timely manner, respond to social media inquiries, and keep our files updated and organized. Qualifications 2+ years of customer service experience A love for ensuring customer happiness A happy and optimistic attitude and disposition Schedule & Benefits This full‑time position offers a flexible schedule, focusing on a good work‑life balance, and the opportunity for overtime at 1.5 times the hourly rate. You will earn a competitive wage of $22 – $24 per hour.
