Locum - Physician - Hospitalist - Oncology Boise, ID

Job Description


Practice Setting: Inpatient rounding, admitting, and consulting
Start Month: May 2025 (with credentialing)
Shift Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM (no call)
Patient Population: Inpatient Oncology unit - both oncology and hematology patients
Support Staff: No APP coverage; outpatient oncologists available for support/questions
Inpatient Coverage: Yes
Supervision Responsibilities: No
EMR System: EPIC
Responsibilities: Treating oncology and hematology patients, administering medication
Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days

Credentialing Requirements (Must Have at Acceptance)

• MD diploma
• Internship/residency/fellowship certificates
• All medical licenses
• DEA
• Board Certification
• BLS (Life Support Certification)
• Current & previous certificates of insurance
• Driver's license
• Professional color photo/headshot
• CMEs from the past two years
• Immunization records (TB, Flu, HepB, Tdap, Varicella, COVID)
• References
• Case logs

Submission Requirements

• Board Certified in Medical Oncology or Medical Oncology/Hematology (IM with experience no longer considered)
• Idaho state license in hand
• CSR, DEA, BLS - REQUIRED
• Availability at the time of name clear
• Clean background/malpractice history
• Local candidates preferred (no flights provided)
• COVID vaccination required to work at this facility
