Work Environment

The clinic is housed in a state-of-the-art 5,000 square foot rehabilitation center, featuring modern equipment and dedicated treatment areas. As a member of our onsite team, you will work closely with two other physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA) in a collaborative environment that values continuous learning and improvement. Our work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life while offering ample opportunity for patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and identify the unique goals and needs of each patient during their initial consultation.
• Develop customized treatment plans that incorporate a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions and exercise programs.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring personalized and attentive care during each session.
• Implement cost-effective therapies aimed at improving motion and mobility, while minimizing dependence on medications and exploring non-invasive alternatives.
• Monitor patient progress through continuous evaluation and adjustment of treatment plans, maintaining thorough documentation of services provided.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care that addresses the whole patient.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, promoting active participation in their treatment process.
• Educate patients on lifestyle modifications to enhance strength, flexibility, and overall wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves patients engaged in orthopedic rehabilitation, recovering from conditions such as joint pain, sports injuries, post-surgical recovery, and chronic musculoskeletal issues. By providing personalized care plans, we ensure that each individual receives the exact support they need to regain strength and functionality.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• An active Physical Therapist license in Florida is essential.
• No instances of board actions or disciplinary measures on your license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and personalized rehabilitation strategies.
• Experience in designing and implementing exercise regimens tailored to diverse patient populations.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Experience collaborating in a multidisciplinary team environment to enhance patient care.
• Proven track record of implementing successful rehabilitation programs that improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience.
