Work Environment

The role of the Physical Therapist is primarily onsite at our rehabilitation facility in Hollywood, Florida, where you will engage personally with patients in a supportive and collaborative environment. We operate under an established work schedule from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured yet flexible atmosphere conducive to both patient care and professional development. Our facility is designed to facilitate effective therapy sessions, featuring rehabilitation gyms, private treatment rooms, and advanced therapeutic equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their rehabilitation goals.
• Deliver high-quality, individualized care by applying diverse therapeutic techniques and interventions.
• Administer effective physical therapy procedures focusing on enhancing range of motion, flexibility, and mobility.
• Monitor patient progress and adapt treatment strategies as necessary, ensuring the highest standard of care.
• Engage in one-on-one patient interactions to encourage motivation, address concerns, and provide education on prevention and self-management strategies.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and advanced therapeutic modalities as indicated in treatment plans.
• Document all treatment services provided accurately, adhering to compliance regulations and maintaining effective communication within the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and occupational therapists, to deliver comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic issues, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, chronic pain, and musculoskeletal disorders. Our diverse clientele consists of individuals ranging from young athletes to seniors, each requiring tailored treatment plans that reflect their specific conditions, goals, and lifestyles. The role requires a deep understanding of how to motivate and guide patients toward achieving their optimal functional performance.

Qualifications

• Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• No records of disciplinary actions or board violations on your license.
• Proven proficiency in manual therapy techniques and in designing effective exercise programs for rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, for streamlined documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement customized treatment plans based on clinical evidence.
• Experience working collaboratively with a healthcare team to enhance patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits
