Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify patient needs, establishing tailored treatment plans based on physician referrals.
• Implement therapeutic interventions that may include manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities to facilitate recovery.
• Monitor and modify treatment protocols based on patient progress and feedback, ensuring alignment with evidence-based practices.
• Provide education to patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and lifestyle adjustments to support rehabilitation.
• Build robust relationships with patients to encourage adherence to their treatment regimens, ultimately aiming to exceed their functional goals.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes through shared knowledge and coordinated care efforts.
• Document patient interactions thoroughly in electronic medical records, adhering to all compliance and billing requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the privilege of treating diverse patient populations, focusing primarily on orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine diagnoses. Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current State License in Physical Therapy to practice in Florida.
• A minimum of two years of experience in an orthopedic setting, demonstrating a solid foundation in physical rehabilitation.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to convey complex information clearly to patients and their families.
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems and comfortable with word processing and relevant technology.

Preferred Experience
