Work Environment

You will work in a modern rehabilitation center that emphasizes patient-centered care. Our facility offers an array of resources to facilitate optimal treatment outcomes, including specialized equipment for orthopedic rehabilitation. The team environment is collaborative, with regular interactions among physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals. The center operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, promoting a conducive environment for work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical abilities and needs to formulate effective treatment plans.
• Implement individualized rehabilitation programs utilizing evidence-based techniques to address a variety of orthopedic conditions and injuries.
• Provide direct patient care, which involves guiding clients through therapeutic exercises, activities, and interventions that promote recovery and mobility.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Engage patients with motivational strategies that foster a positive approach to recovery and empower them to reach their rehabilitation goals.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each patient's treatment, addressing both physical and wellness needs.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, pain management techniques, and optimal physical health practices.
• Document patient care and progress accurately in compliance with legal and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with patients experiencing a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions, including but not limited to sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain syndromes. Our diverse patient population includes active adults and seniors, making your expertise in orthopedic rehabilitation essential in enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a higher degree (Master's or Doctorate) from an accredited program.
• Valid and active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, demonstrating a strong foundation in treating musculoskeletal injuries and conditions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate with a dynamic team of professionals.
• Proficient in assessing, planning, and implementing quality care in line with established rehabilitation protocols.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with electronic health record systems for efficient documentation and communication is highly desirable.
• Background in creating fitness and wellness programs tailored to unique patient needs is an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

This rewarding position offers an annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience.
